What is CapexSignal, in one sentence?
A search and monitoring layer over public industrial-project sources that keeps every fact tied to the document and quote it came from, so a lead, a rival’s schedule slip or a diligence question can be checked rather than taken on trust.
Which countries can I actually buy today?
As published here, none beyond the free GB sample — paid checkout opens for a geography only once its production source, seven daily canaries and an independent scorecard all pass at once. The live per-country state is on the console and mirrored on the coverage page; an adapter existing is not the same as a country being for sale.
Can my own AI agent query this instead of a person using the site?
Yes. The MCP endpoint exposes the same read-only tools a person reaches through the REST API, over stdio or HTTP, so an agent can ask for claims, run bounded SQL or check coverage directly rather than scraping rendered pages.
What happens if I spot a fact that looks wrong?
File a correction naming the document and quoting the words — the same requirement placed on every extraction the system stores. It enters the same review queue as anything a model proposes; a correction is still an assertion, and an unverified assertion is exactly what the evidence chain exists to avoid.
Is anything ever deleted from the record?
A value can be superseded, never erased. Both the old and new value remain, each with its own evidence and date, which is what makes “what did you believe on this date” and a developer’s said-versus-did answerable months later.
Who actually operates CapexSignal?
Skelf Research. CapexSignal is the product name for its industrial-evidence engine; the accuracy method, the source adapters and the legal review of each register sit under the same organisation.
Does a subscription buy one sector, like power or mining?
No plan is scoped to a single sector. Sector is a filter applied to a search or an alert, never a boundary between products — the projects worth tracking, such as a data-centre campus or a gigafactory, usually straddle several sectors at once.
What can the free plan actually do?
Read the current Great Britain corpus with a rolling 24-month history and 12 months forward, at 30 requests a minute and up to 100 rows per answer, with the full evidence chain on every fact. No card and no sales call are required to start it.
Why do some answers say they are incomplete instead of just answering?
Because a quietly short answer and a genuinely complete one look identical unless the system says otherwise. Every response states what it was bounded to, what it left out and what it cost, so a lagging shard or a narrowed scope is visible rather than silently assumed away.
